EB 1 Elementary School – Teacher Abel Avelino

Expansion of EB 1 Elementary School – Professor Abel Avelino, in Alpiarça, sponsored by the Municipality of Alpiarça, with a total investment of €1,287,869.17, 85% of which (€1,092,796.69) is co-financed by the European Union. The project aims to centralize education in Alpiarça by bringing together students from various schools into a single, more modern, functional, and inclusive educational facility. The project includes the construction of a new floor with four classrooms, a multipurpose room, and support areas, ensuring accessibility and comfort. The new infrastructure will be developed with a special focus on sustainability, including domestically sourced materials, thermal insulation solutions, and the integration of solar panels. Plans also include the creation of outdoor recreational spaces and a covered playground, enhancing the quality of the school environment and the educational experience.
